I am fully experienced and qualified in all aspects of aircraft and Street Rod interior refurbishing. The quality you expect from me is evident in all of my interior work. From two-seat singles, to heavier singles and twins, to fine Street Rods. I take pride in going beyond normal expectations for interior shops in order to meet the needs of clients not willing to sacrifice quality for price.
• Interior Design
I will work with you to create an interior for your aircraft or Street Rod that is beautifully appointed and flawlessly executed to meet and likely exceed your expectations. From complete refurbishments to select improvements, every project is given the time and attention to detail that it deserves.
• Overview of The Process
The following is a partial description of the process involved in transforming the interior of your aircraft or Street Rod. All materials I use are FAA approved.
• Upon Arrival:
Documents and personal items will be removed and stored. I then evaluate the interior for proper size and fit. Next, I will remove all sidewalls, seats, headliner, carpet, plastic window trim, seatbelts and windlace. I will then clean the interior and buff the seat rails.
• Seats:
All seats will be stripped to frames, mechanicals will be checked to make sure they are in good working order. They will be cleaned, masked primed and painted to match the new seat color, or how you desire. They will then be re-foamed in multi-density foams as per customer specifications and recovered in full-grain premium leather or top quality fabrics, or even a combination of both!
• Sidewalls:
All sidewalls will be stripped of old materials and inspected. They will be re foamed with high-density, flame retardant foam and covered in your selection of fabric or leather. Armrests will also be re foamed and covered.
• Headliner:
A new headliner will be fabricated and installed in your choice of materials.
• Carpet:
Premium carpet will be cut, fit and bound and installed throughout.
• Door Windlace:
I will install new windlace cords on all doors.
• Interior Plastic Trim:
As requested by the client.
• Curtains:
As requested by the client.
